Kevin Koegel of Westbury receives congratulations from Lisa Vickers, Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy to Malawi, after his swearing-in as a Peace Corps Response Volunteer.
Koegel, a 2001 graduate of , is serving as a public health adviser to the Malawi government for nine months. He received a master of public health (MPH) degree in 2010 from the University of Arizona, where he was a Peace Corps Fellow.
Before that, Koegel served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Grenada from 2005 to 2007 after graduating with honors from Providence College.
