Students at participated in the school-wide National Geographic Geography Bee moderated by Mr. Dunphy.
These 22 students were the winners of their in-class geography bee held in each of the social studies classes. Questions encompassed various topics including the 50 states, the continents, mountain ranges throughout the world and bodies of water.
The school winner was Andrew Mavrogeorgis, with Dylan Murarka and Pietro Buonfrisco taking second and third place, respectively. Mavrogeorgis then toook a 70-question written test to see if he will qualify for the state level competition on March 30.
