Fallout from the Apple Patent Lawsuit

Apple may be the one of the most profitable and richest company but they don't keep the money here. When we buy Apple we support China.

It is no wonder that Apple, the same company that stole ideas from everyone to create the Macintosh computer would create so many patents to protect the iPod, iPhone and iPad.

In a recent Businessweek article called Apple Jihad, Apple is in patent lawsuits with every major electronics manufacturer over features of their products even those that make parts for Apple. I find it unfortunate to say the least that they would go to great lengths and spend millions of dollars in courts around the world to prevent copycat products from coming even close to imitating any feature
software or hardware including the idea of making a device in the form of a
tablet.

I can understand that the patents are protection of key features like
buttons, custom software actions, screen attributes, but to patent the entire
device down to the shape is going too far. It is like the outcast in a school
becomes the biggest bully of them all. It is just not right. The famous saying,
“Imitation is the best form of flattery”, does not apply here.

Apple does not want to be imitated or flattered, just paid well. It is no secret that over 80 percent of the their money is located in China, which is preventing the IRS from taxing-- giving Apple a nice shelter for your hard earned money and encouraging outsourcing of work that should be done on American soil.

Every time an iPod, iPad or iPhone gets purchased, you are encouraging the outsource movement. If you want to support the economy in the United States try to purchase, if this is even possible, technology not necessarily designed here but also built here.

Lenovo announced that their computers will be built on American soil which is a
switch from the rest of the pack. Let’s start supporting technology built here
which mean the money will stay here and create more jobs.
