Haunted House and Family Fun Fair: Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano presents a haunted house and family fun fair at Eisenhower Park's Parking Field 8 in East Meadow. A Zombie Maze, hay rides, carnival games, balloon twisting, face painting and more will be offered. The haunted house and family fun fair is slated to open this holiday weekend, Oct. 11-13, and will also be open Oct. 18-20 and Oct. 25-30. Hours are 6:30-10:30 p.m.; 4-11 p.m. Saturdays.
