Tween Advisory Board Meets, Registration Begins for Driving Class

East Meadow Kiwanis Meeting: East Meadow Kiwanis will meet at 7:15 p.m. at the Empress Diner. For more information, contact club president Debbie Kirsh at 662-7451.
Tween Advisory Board: The East Meadow Public Library's Tween Advisory Board meets at 7 p.m. Tweens can apply to be a part of advisory board; applications are available in the YA room. The board meets the first Tuesday of the month from October to May.

Register for AARP Driving Class: Registration opens at 9 a.m. Tuesday for the Dec. 2 AARP driving class at the East Meadow Public Library. Participants must have a current NYS driver’s license to take this class, which costs $17 for AARP members and $19 for non-members (bring your AARP card to registration). Payment is by undated check only. Register in person or by phone; first day of registration for East Meadow school district residents.
