In any animal species it is NORMAL that there should be genetic differences that are NATURALLYRead More occurring. LGBT is such a natural occurrence. and we should not discriminating against such people any more that than we should anyone else with a genetic difference. The notion that somehow Gays need to or can be 'cured' is both horrific and immoral.

Pit Bulls that attack should be put down along with their owners. This way, the owners will be heldRead More accountable and think before they act stupid. They can defend them all they want but the facts don't lie. When was the last time you heard of a pure breed golden retriever killing someone?? The dim witted Pit Bull owners don't seem to understand exactly how and why certain dogs were created in the first place.

it is evident they don't care anything about the victims from their comments

Gene pools are tainted from any animal on earth, especially humans. Why is the pit singled out?Read More Humans kill at a far more alarming rate than Pits. Other dogs kill too, pits make headlines. Many dogs are also mistaken for pits. I read an article of a pit killing someone but 3 days later it came out that it was a Doberman. 99 % of the pits out there are perfectly friendly. Pit haters are uneducated in the facts.
Boss Hogg April 19, 2014 at 03:37 pm
Gus, I think we are all just uneducated, period.

Team STATE, who won the 2013 EmPower Solar Student Competition, attended the U.S. Solar Decathlon in California accompanied by CEO David G. Schieren, right, and COO Greg Sachs, left.
EmPower Solar April 17, 2014 at 09:46 am
Christopher, that is a great question. The major part of the competition, and area that was worthRead More the most amount of points, was STEM inclusive as we asked each team to choose a home or building, analyze its solar potential, and design a system to eliminate as much of its electricity bill as possible. After they answered these questions via the student competition worksheet, they then wrote a mock-letter to the home or building owner explaining how solar would benefit them, along with the cost breakdown. Finally, as a more fun, community-engaging component, the students were asked to create a 30-second video sharing why they should be the ones to win the competition and go to the Solar Decathlon Europe. Given the increased community interest in solar, EmPower thought it would be fun to share these videos with others in the form of a small component of the competition. So, we encourage you to view the videos and vote on your favorite. If you have an idea to make our competition even better, thoughts and suggestions are encouraged. Thanks, again!

JD You're 100% correct about the person walking the street. It's the owner of the dogsRead More responsibility. The mass breeding of the Pit Bull has also contributed to the problem. A big contributor to this Pit Bull mania was Sports Illustrated. In 1987 they put a pit baring its teeth on the cover with the headline "Beware of this dog". This attracted a lot of types of people that wanted them. Gang members sought the breed in droves. Back yard breeders began over breeding because the demand was so high. Many of these dogs were abused, abandoned and became sought after for the ring. To make them meaner they would pump them with steroids, beat them, chain them with heavy chains around their necks all day to make them stronger and force them with hours of exercise daily. It is human scum that have made Pit Bulls the problem. The monsters are humans not these wonderful animals. Joe R why don't you add the most savage of those animals to your list, humans.
